Imbue

Imbue means to inspire and permeate with a feeling or quality.

For my risograph animation printing project, I wanted to explore themes that have deeply influenced my life—

Religion, Nature, and Emotion.

The letters of "Imbue" are scattered across different frames of the animation. The first scene depicts flipping through a Bible, representing my Christian faith. The second scene transitions to the ocean, reflecting my lifelong connection to coastal environments. The final scene focuses on tears, symbolizing the presence and weight of sadness.

I chose indigo blue as the primary color because it harmonizes with all three scenes. It evokes a sense of calm while also carrying a depth that enhances the emotional weight of the themes.
